Hello my para beauties! I hope you had a fantastic Christmas/holiday season and welcome to the year of 2014! Wow...Can you believe it? 2013 came and went so quickly. It just seems like a few months ago I was preparing for Halloween 2013. As we get older the years sure do go by faster.
I'm wanting to discuss the unhealthy obsession with the demonic side of the field that is taking over the movies, tv' sand in some cases peoples lives. It's almost being shoved down our throat to a certain extent. Watching these types of movies and TV shows/documentaries for entertainment here is ok. And even for educational purposes is fine, but someone who isn't mentally healthy or someone who happens to become a little too interested in it can really open themselves up. I'm sure many disagree and that is fine, it's my humble opinion that it can open one up inadvertently.
We need to put the focus on the Lord's Angels! Who are 100 times more powerful than any demon or devil, I can tell you that right now. Why not put the word out on these good angels and not just fallen angels? There is so much comfort and solace there, no fear. Below are some verses and examples of what I mean about Angels of The Lord. We need to praise God for his loving mercy daly.
Angels bring assistance in time of need
The LORD, the God of heaven, brought me from the home of my father and from the land of my relatives, and he solemnly promised me that he would give this land to my descendants. He will send his angel before you, so that you can get a wife there for my son. (Gen 24:7)
He answered, 'The LORD, whom I have always obeyed, will send his angel with you and give you success. You will get for my son a wife from my own people, from my father's family.
(Gen 24:40)
Behold, I send an Angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.
Angels fight against God's enemies
That night an angel of the LORD went to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 soldiers. At dawn the next day there they lay, all dead!
The LORD sent an angel that killed the soldiers and officers of the Assyrian army. So the emperor went back to Assyria disgraced. One day when he was in the temple of his god, some of his sons killed him with their swords. (2Ch 32:21)
An angel of the LORD went to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 soldiers. At dawn the next day there they lay, all dead! (Isa 37:36)
Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, who fought back with his angels; (Rev 12:7)
For My Angel shall go before you and bring you in to the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
(Exo 23:23)
Angels provide Protection
His angel guards those who honor the LORD and rescues them from danger. (Psa 34:7 GNB)
God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones. You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes. God says, "I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as LORD. (Psa 91:11-14 GNB)
Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels? (Mat 26:53 MKJV)
[Note: A legion is seven-thousand]
Angels bring Comfort and Strength
Elijah walked a whole day into the wilderness. He stopped and sat down in the shade of a tree and wished he would die. "It's too much, LORD," he prayed. "Take away my life; I might as well be dead!" He lay down under the tree and fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him and said, "Wake up and eat." He looked around and saw a loaf of bread and a jar of water near his head. He ate and drank, and lay down again. The LORD's angel returned and woke him up a second time, saying, "Get up and eat, or the trip will be too much for you." Elijah got up, ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to walk forty days to Sinai, the holy mountain. (1Ki 19:4-8 GNB)
Then the Devil left Jesus; and angels came and helped him. (Mat 4:11)
Then again one like a man in form came and touched me, and he made me stronger and said, O man greatly beloved, do not fear. Peace to you; be strong; yes, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was made stronger, and I said, Speak my lord, for you have made me stronger. (Dan 10:18-19)
We are not to worship angels
We are to honor them but not worship them. Only God is to be worshipped. I feel the same about the Virgin Mary. Too many claim to be guided by "spirit guides". Are they really sure? How do they know they are not being deceived by a demonic spirit? They are taking a big chance when they don't have much experience in this.
Do not allow yourselves to be condemned by anyone who claims to be superior because of special visions and who insists on false humility and the worship of angels. For no reason at all, such people are all puffed up by their human way of thinking. (Col 2:18 )
I, John, have heard and seen all these things. And when I finished hearing and seeing them, I fell down at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things, and I was about to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do it! I am a servant together with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all those who obey the words in this book. Worship God!"
We must have a personal relationship with Christ and have The Holy Spirit within us at all times. In today's times so many are hurting. I hate to say it but many of you wouldn't know it if some of your closet friends and family were hurting as some hide it so very well. The fear of judgement and many other things keep many from reaching out. So it's easy to turn to the wrong place for help. Many are seeking someone who cares, seems genuine. It's easy to turn to the wrong people or cult. Let's show more love and NON JUDGEMENT and be examples of children of Christ.

Do You Believe in Angels?
By Lisa Grace
Recently I was asked in an interview if I believe in angels or the supernatural as the way it appears in my fiction books.
Yes, I believe in angels. Have I knowingly seen any? No.
However, I have met some disturbed people that I believe are possessed, and no, the mental health counseling and medication did not help them.
Do I believe events could happen the way they do in my books? Yes and no. It’s a work of fiction and as such, many incidences are over the top. I believe in today’s modern world the supernatural one does prefer to remain hidden. It’s easier to operate when people don’t believe it exists. I believe all “ghosts” are demonic manifestations leading people away from truth.
If a being, (no matter how beautiful as Satan can appear as an angel of light) contradicts the Holy Scriptures, it is evil and sent to lull people into believing a false view of the afterlife to their detriment. The devil is recruiting for his army through deception.
Your best defense? Know your scriptures. Understand the supernatural world and its goals. Put on the armor of Christ and be prepared for spiritual warfare.
NOTE: This is a rerun blog from Lisa Grace as she is currently on vacation.

11 Reasons Soul Sleep Is Not Biblical
By Reverend Mark Hunnemann
1. A book frequently appealed to is Ecclesiastes, where it seems to teach soul sleep…..One should NEVER appeal primarily to this book for doctrinal support because the stated perspective is “under the sun”(life without God), which leads to meaningless existence.
An increasing number of Christians are appealing to the notion of soul sleep as their primary argument against the notion of ghosts. This is an in-family discussion, and while I deeply rejoice in their courage to confront a very serious issue, I am also concerned that the biblical view of the afterlife is being distorted. What is soul sleep? It has to do with what is known as the intermediate state—the time between a person’s death and the Second Coming of Christ. It is the belief that when we die, our souls remain asleep until Jesus returns. Of course if this were true, it would be a profound argument against ghosts, but it is not, and using it is counter-productive. Besides, as I point out in Seeing Ghosts through God’s Eyes, there are many other cogent arguments which stand on solid biblical ground.
I have to ask this question: why do people believe in this notion? They sincerely believe the bible teaches it. I respect that. But, historically there is another reason this notion has arisen. The reasoning goes like this: if the body cannot exist without the soul, then the soul cannot exist without the body. That is fallacious reasoning because it leads to a non-sequitor or false conclusion. When the soul leaves the body, then that person is dead, and their body will decay. However, there is no scriptural or anecdotal evidence to support the notion that the soul cannot exist apart from the body. The soul is the consciousness/essence of a person…it is spiritual in nature. If in principle we think that a spiritual soul cannot exist without a body, then how do we explain God, angels, and demons….all of whom have spirits without bodies—except for Jesus’ body in heaven? They are disembodied consciousness and personality, so why not the same for humans when they become disembodied?
2. Also, it is asserted that since Jesus referred to dead people as sleeping, then that clearly indicated the souls of dead people are sleeping; Is that not what Jesus said? No. He said they were asleep…He did not say their soul was asleep. What is asleep, the soul or the body? Clearly the bible and experience teach that our bodies rest or sleep until they are resurrected. More to the point, we need to be familiar with the culture of the time—calling death, sleep was simply a common euphemism of the day for death—it was not a technical term used to indicate the soul’s awareness level. Meaning is determined by context, and in this case it is the whole bible.
3. A survey of church history shows that all three branches (Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant) have staunchly supported conscious existence after death. From the early church fathers to today, conscious existence after death has been a crucial aspect of classical Christianity. All the Reformers, historical confessions (e.g., Westminster Confession) as well as the great Revivalists (Edwards, Whitfield, Wesley, Spurgeon, and Moody) all robustly affirmed the importance of “when they are dead, they will have never been more alive!” Moody. John Calvin’s first book was a refutation of the notion of soul sleep.
4. Today, the two main groups that affirm soul sleep are Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah’s Witnesses; regarding the latter, the late great Walter Martin saw soul sleep as one of the hallmarks of a cult.
5. Enoch and Elijah were beamed up into heaven very much conscious….would God take them only to put them to sleep?
6. Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the Mt. of Transfiguration and were talking to Him. The simplest explanation is continuity of conscious existence.
7. In Acts 7 Jesus stands to celebrate Stephen’s homecoming while he is being stoned to death.
8. Rev. 6:9-11 The current activity and communication of the souls of believers is seen and heard by John. The topic of their discussion could only occur during the intermediate state. Crucial text.
9. “…away from the body and at home with the Lord.” (2 Cor.5:8) one reason I don’t reference Hebrew and Greek more often is that it can inadvertently cause folks to lose confidence in their English bibles…which are exceedingly accurate. Clearly Paul anticipates that death will propel his soul into heaven.
10. Phil.1:21 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Paul succinctly summarizes his dilemma and then elaborates. Life or death, Jesus is everything to Paul. If he stays then he will have a fruitful ministry with them by being a minister of their joy in Christ. But if he dies…Paul’s longing to be with Jesus will be fulfilled. Paul yearns for the latter, but his Jesus-like servant heart will choose to continue to help them. But the point is clear—death is seen as an immediate entry into Christ’s presence. How could it be considered gain if he said, “I’m excited about being asleep for 2,000 years…”? Remember Paul had already had a direct vision of heaven which was unspeakably wonderful. THAT is what he desired above all else.
11. “But you have come to Mt Zion and to the city of the living God….and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect.” Heb.12:22-24 Note that it says… you have come…a present reality (same in Greek as in English). This is a reference to the church militant (us) worshipping with the church triumphant…NOW!. The righteous made perfect are the glorified souls of believers in heaven who are worshipping God now. Dr. Edmund Clowney, commenting on these amazing verses, states that when believers join for corporate worship, then we are mystically united with the departed saints in worship of the living God--with Jesus as the choirmaster (2:12)! “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” (emp. added) Lk23:43 If one has a solid grasp of the central doctrine of union with Christ, there is no way to believe in soul sleep. By virtue of being in Christ we are already in heaven! (Col.3:1f)

New Age Seductions
By V. K. Bronz
I would like to share a personal experience I had about 37 years ago. I realize there are many who don’t believe in God or the supernatural abilities people have, so I ask that you please don’t just dismiss what I have written the minute you see the word God. After all personal experiences should not be pushed aside just because our personal beliefs are being tested.
When I first got saved I was totally ignorant of the gifts the Lord has given each Christian that he might overcome the wiles of the enemy, never the less the Lord taught me quickly.
I had a voracious appetite for the Lord and I wanted to know everything I possibly could regarding the things of the Lord; I read and read everything I could get my hands on, until one day I was reading an auto biography of a turn of the century saint, As I read I felt in my spirit a change of the spirit behind the words. What was even more strange, is I recognized the “feel” of the spirit that was in those words. I know this is a strange statement but as I read that autobiography it was written by one person and the sentence I had just read was written by a different person; I could feel the difference plain as day. I looked at the producers of the book and sure enough it was the “spirit” of the person I had recognized when I read that one sentence!
The producers of that book had changed the wording to have it mean something entirely different than what the original author had intended.
Fast forward thirty years later and I was writing on the holiness of God when I noticed in the footnotes of a very old book a reference to “The Book of Enoch”. Somewhere out there was supposedly another book of the bible that was not included in the bible. This book had been “found” during the second century.
I began to research and quickly found that this “lost” book of the bible had been translated in the seventies. I began to read it and was so blessed by the praises of our God expressed by the Angels and the story of Enoch’s close knit little family sharing the word to each other. What word you say, back then before it was written, the wonderful knowledge the Angels came down and began to share with them. Yes, this book said the Angels came down and began to share all the hidden knowledge of the creation of the world. They introduced themselves giving their names and who they were. I felt a check in my spirit (unease) because it has been my experience Angels never point to themselves they point you to God. I pushed the check aside because their praise of God had touched me so.
As I read my spirit kept feeling a coldness almost like what you see in some of these movies out now that are all black and dark metallic looking and feeling. I pushed it aside and kept reading because after-all the angels were praising God so beautifully. When it came time for the Angels to explain to Enoch (the angels had taken him to heaven to show the wonders of God) who that third person was with God and the Holy Spirit, they didn't say he would be the savior of the world they did say he was the son of god but no mention of the sinless lamb of God. It was like oh that’s the son of God. Period. On to next subject. The red flags flew, the alarm bells rang, yet I still dismissed this by thinking, well this is before the Lord came to earth .
I also took notice that every time the Angels were in heaven with Enoch and they saw God, he was always at a distance and was not approachable. Now if God had sent his Angels to tell this little family of Adam and Eve all the secrets of the universe why would he never have anything to do with Enoch when he came to heaven? Remember Enoch walked with God and was not. God walked with him on the earth their relationship was so close that he took him to heaven without death on a chariot. And God is our Father he has a loving father’s heart, why would there be no fellowship with Enoch like there was on earth.
As I came to the end of the story there was reference to a “Book of Noah” so I quickly read it. I was so put off by the blatant fantastical description of Noah’s son Lemech sitting up at his birth praising god with bazaar looking features of red eyes and snow white hair and skin, but as I read it I felt that same coldness I felt with “The Book of Enoch”.
When I was finished reading the Holy Spirit prompted me to go to the word; as I began to read the word of God I felt the familiar sweet soft loving presence of the Lord who is the word, as I read I immediately knew the cold distant dead word I had just read was NOT from God. Not only did I feel the presence of the Lord as the word, I had a vision; the life that is the word was coming off of the page like a fog and entering into me. I began to cry and thank the Lord for his Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth; at that moment I knew if I had received that false book I would have received the false “demon” or spirit that was attached to it and forever more it would have perverted the true word of God in me. I was and still am shocked at the enemy’s ability to be the angel of light, there seemed to be no difference between him and the Lord. The difference is indiscernible; had it not been for the loving Lord showing me, it would have fooled me.
Oh people, this is what This New Age has done, authors and preachers take what feels good and sounds good twisting the truth just enough to get us to except it, using a different word that sounds close, changing other peoples words to mean what benefits them and in receiving what they say we receive damnation because we are excepting demons unaware. Even the number one bible translator in the world; Wycliffe, has fallen. They have taken the words Father and son out of the bible translations because it offends Muslims. No longer will people read Jesus is the son of God but now they have changed it to he is Lord. No longer will people read God is our Father but it will read Allah. I was tempted to do the same when I wrote this article. I knew the minute I mentioned the word God many would stop reading; but I can’t let the desire to have my experience heard cause me to omit part of the truth. I would be just as guilty. I feel so sorry for those so afraid of having their beliefs challenged that they can’t even respect each other enough to hear what they are saying.
But then again if we read more of other peoples words than Gods we won’t know him, just a shadow of him and The age old trick of Satan, to take the truth and ever so slightly twist it so it no longer means what God said, but now is a pathway to hell, will be effectively used on us.
Anytime we are told there is hidden knowledge or secrets no one else knows BEWARE this is where the Mormons got their religion. The “Angels” told John Smith the secrets of attaining paradise. Anytime anyone such as Rick Warren or any person tries to tell you your purpose is something different than Loving the Lord God with all of your heart soul mind and body run like hell. If there is a supernatural world out there then it stands to reason there has to be the one who created it. There is nothing more glorious and holy then being given the honor and position of Sons of God.
